Backups
Create, restore, and delete database dumps — locally on the VPS and off-site. Restoring replaces the live catalog, so it always asks first and takes a safety backup before touching anything.
Automatic backups: every day at 03:00 UTC the database is dumped, verified, and rotated — 7 days kept locally, 30 days kept off-site. Restore warning: restoring replaces the whole live catalog and restarts the API. A safety backup of the current database is taken first, and the dump is verified in a throwaway database before the live one is touched — but still only restore a dump you trust.
